Employment Counselling Centres

The Employment Counselling Centres provides employment counselling, vocational assessments and assistance with the application process for retraining programs.

Employment counselling services include:
  • Defining career goals
  • Job search strategies
  • Labour market analysis
  • Interview preparation
Workshops and vocational assessments include:
  • Myers Briggs
  • Strong Interest Inventory
  • True Colors
  • Job loss and career decision making
Subsidized retraining programs include:
  • Second Career
  • Ontario Skills Development Benefit
  • Opportunities Fund for disabled adults
  • Skills Link Program for youth experiencing barriers
