About Camp Davern
Camp Davern is located 20 minutes west of Perth, in Maberly, Ontario. Nestled on 100 acres of pines, hills, cedars and trails this all-girls overnight camp provides the perfect space for girls to develop the necessary decision-making and life skills to grow into confident young women.
Mentored by enthusiastic and charismatic staff, our campers are engaged in fun activities that challenge them to think critically and creatively, make thoughtful and caring decisions, and be agents of change.The Davern experience shapes girls who will respect differences, live with compassion, explore the natural world and realize their role in it.
At Davern, campers can try new things, explore hidden talents and experience new challenges. From learning how to set up a shelter, paddling a canoe or kayak, singing at the campfire, or acting in a play on our outdoor stage - there is something for every girl at Davern.

How to Register
Complete the Camp Davern Registration Form and return it to us with payment. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Refunds and Transfers*
Requests for refunds must be made in writing – by mail, email or fax. The camp fee per session, less a deposit of %25 will be refunded if cancellation before June 1. No refunds are offered after June 1. Requests for transfers must be made in writing – by mail, email or fax. Deposits are non-transferable. There is a $10 fee for transfers between sessions. All transfers must be completed at least two weeks prior to the session start date.
* There are no refunds for children who are asked to leave camp due to behavioral issues.
Financial Assistance
It is our belief that every child and youth should have the opportunity to experience summer camp. The National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA is a charity and through the generosity of our donors we provide opportunities for children and youth to participate in summer camps that they might not otherwise be able to afford. Driving Directions from Ottawa:
Ø From Ottawa, take the Queensway West until you reach the exit
for Highway 7 West
Ø Get on Highway 7 West and continue driving approximately
20 minutes past Perth
Ø From Highway 7, turn left at Bolingbroke Road (if you reach Silver
Lake Provincial Park you have gone too far)
Ø Follow Bolingbroke Road, cross over a wooden bridge, follow around
the bend and turn right into
