Y Kids Fit is a physical activity, nutrition and lifestyle program for children and youth ages 6-15 and their families. The program focuses on building healthy habits within families dealing with challenges of weight and inactivity.
Developed in partnership with CHEO, Y Kids Fit reintroduces young people to traditional activities like sports and swimming, non-traditional activities like yoga, hip hop dance and free weights, along with simple fun and play through various games and group events. The goal is to build healthy habits in children, youth and families, so that they can reach their own goals and live an overall healthy lifestyle.
