Strategic Plan

The National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA, founded in 1867, is one of the oldest and most relevant charities in Ottawa that has grown to become one of the largest Ys in the world.  

This strategic plan honours our proud history that is characterized by inclusiveness, engagement and innovation but also envisages a bold future of a growing and expanding Y meeting the emerging needs of communities within the National Capital Region.  The plan spans 10 years, from 2006 to 2015,  to allow the organization the time necessary to generate the philanthropic resources needed to fulfill the vision.
