Playcare

Playcare is a child minding service we offer while you enjoy our Y facilities, programs or services.  Our caring, creative, fun and professional staff are here to make sure that your child's time at the Y is as much fun as yours.

Children aged 11 months to 7 years can stay with us in playcare for up to 2 hours per day.  They spend their time engaged in supervised play, arts and crafts, reading stories and much more. Infants between 6 weeks to 10 months can stay with us in infant care for up to 1.5 hours per day.

Please note that there are a limited number of children accepted in each age group according to staff/child ratio and room size. Pre-booking is required at most Ys and is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Call in advance to make sure you're not disappointed.

Daily Rates

For the occasional user of our playcare service, the following daily rates apply.
  • Y members - $5 per child each visit, $4 each additional sibling
  • Non-Y members - $9per child each visit
Punch Card Rates

The playcare punch card is a convenient and cost effective payment method. With a punch card, you only pay for the child minding time you use.
  • Playcare punch card - $32 for 20 hours
Annual Pass Rates

If you plan to use playcare throughout the year, try our annual pass. The annual pass allows for unlimited playcare visits. Fees can be paid in full or with a monthly payment plan.
  • 1st child $315 (or $30/month)
  • 2nd child $250 (or $23/month)
  • Additional children $190 ($20/month)
