KinderKids is a non-licensed, half-day recreational program for children four to six years old that helps to bridge the gap between Kindergarten school hours and the beginning or end of your work day. Our values-based program is a place where children can learn, play and grow.
KinderKids is offered through the Y at Woodroffe United Church (September-June) from Monday to Friday. You can choose two, three or five days a week, with a morning or afternoon option.
Program activities include circle time, creative learning activities, music and movement, arts and crafts, free play, active gym, science, storytelling and drama.
Our staff are selected for their competence, experience and enthusiasm. All staff are trained in Standard First Aid and CPR, YMCA Healthy Child Development, child guidance and more to ensure the best possible experience for your child. The KinderKids staff to child ratio is 1 to 10.
