Our after school care programs help bridge the gap between the end of your children's school day and the end of your work day.
After school care programs offered by the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA are recreation-based. In addition to staff-led sports, activities and games, our programs include snack time, homework help and independent play.
Under the guidance of caring individuals, we offer a safe and stimulating environment. Our values-based instruction allows children to enhance team work and build social skills.
From Kanata to Orleans, the YMCA-YWCA offers after school care programs in your community in schools or at your local Y Health, Fitness and Recreation Centre.

Financial Assistance
At the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA, we support families who need financial assistance to help with their child care fees. If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please let us know when you call to ask about our programs or at the time of registration.
