Strength and Conditioning

At the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA, we provide you with excellent cross-training benefits through access to strength training and cardiovascular equipment at all our Y locations.

A variety of cardiovascular machines, which include treadmills, elliptical cross-trainers, cardio wave, arc trainers, steppers, and upright and recumbent stationary bicycles, are available in addition to our collection of strength training equipment designed to help you condition your upper and lower body. 

As a Y member, you can access our fitness leaders to introduce you to our equipment, work with you to develop an exercise plan and provide you with ongoing support.   Three sessions are included in the first year of new your membership.
