Camping and Outdoor Education
Y camp programs blend fun and adventure in an environment of respect, honesty, caring and responsibility. Using the natural surroundings as the basis for our programs, Y camps keep children and youth actively engaged in a variety of outdoor programs from snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter to canoeing, swimming and rock climbing in the summer. Our camps offer a place of belonging, a place where lifelong friendships are developed, and where children learn new skills in a safe, fun and supportive environment
Fall Camp Otonabee School Programs

We’re proud to offer two new programs this fall to assist families looking for supportive alternatives for at home schooling! Our Y Forest School and Outdoor Adventure programs provide an immersive outdoor learning experience and are designed to keep your kids engaged, active, and socialized.

With two immersive outdoor education programs to choose from this fall, our Camp Otonabee offers the ideal location for an alternative learning environment! Take part between September 7 - December 10, 2020. Click the links below to learn more about each program:

Family Days at Camp

Gather the family and join us for a day of adventure at Camp Otonabee! Pack a picnic, bring another family in your group (up to ten people), and enjoy a day of activities like high ropes, water activities, low ropes, and cooperative games. Finish off your fall adventure with a cozy campfire -  we’ll provide the marshmallows!
